• • How long do New Orleans Airboat Tours last?
    Most tours last between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours dock-to-dock. Add about 35 minutes each way for transport if you’re coming from downtown New Orleans. It’s a perfect balance between adventure and comfort — enough time to see everything, not so long that it feels rushed.

  • Are the tours safe for families and children?
    Yes! Our licensed captains are experienced with families and children. Kids ages 5 and older can ride, and life jackets are always provided. Larger boats offer a smoother ride, while smaller airboats are perfect for thrill-seekers.

  • What will I see during the tour?
    Every Louisiana swamp tour is unique — expect to see alligators, turtles, herons, egrets, and sometimes bald eagles. Depending on the season, you might also spot wild boar, raccoons, or white-tailed deer. Your guide will share Cajun folklore and stories about life in the bayou.

  • What should I bring on an airboat tour?
    We recommend sunglasses, sunscreen, and a light jacket depending on the season. Cameras and phones are welcome (just store them securely). Bug spray and water are available on-site.

  • Do tours run in the rain?
    Yes — most airboat tours continue in light rain. It adds to the experience! Severe weather conditions may require rescheduling or refunds for safety.

  • When is the best time to see alligators?
    Gators are cold-blooded, so they’re more active in warm weather. However, you could  see them year-round. You’ll also enjoy incredible scenery and wildlife activity 

  • Can I book a private airboat or swamp tour?
    Definitely! Private and semi-private tours are perfect for couples, families, or corporate groups who want a more personal experience with their captain.
